“Self-managing means my daughter decides what to do with her life and chooses who supports her in that, and they are accountable to her.”

Would you like to learn more about how you can self manage an NDIS plan to get the good things in life?

Self managing is one of the most powerful ways to support a positive vision and an inclusive life. Self management can mean more flexibility, choice and control over what a person with disability does with their life and who supports them to do it.

But… self managing an NDIS Package can feel like a lot of work. How can you navigate this to best suit your life or the person with disability?

Get the most of self managing, what your next steps could be and meet other families.

The Self Management Peer Network group is free and meets regularly, starting February 2022. The group will be facilitated by an experienced family leader.

Self Management Peer Network FAQ

Who is this network for?

This network is for people with disability and families (in NSW only) who are new to self management, and those who want to know how to use their self-managed funds better to achieve the good life.

I don’t know what self management is.

The NDIS definition of self management is “when you manage your NDIS funding. It gives you the flexibility and choice to decide what supports you buy to pursue your plan goals.” Read more about self management on the NDIS website.
